Tool & Die Supervisor
In this dynamic role, you will lead the charge in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our precision tools and dies. We’re seeking a skilled professional capable of performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of stamping products and related machinery. Your tasks will include overseeing machining operations, setup and routine upkeep, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
To excel, you should have a high school diploma or GED, complemented by a technical certification in Machine Tool & Die or equivalent experience. A minimum of five years in machining or tool and die operations is essential. You must demonstrate adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
We value candidates with experience in a steel service center and those who possess a dependable work ethic, including the ability to work overtime as required. Critical skills include the capacity to comprehend technical instructions, safety protocols, machine operations, and the ability to execute precise mathematical calculations involving measurements, fractions, and decimals. Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and technical diagrams is crucial.
As part of the job, you’ll be responsible for executing machine tooling actions across various conventional machines, ensuring product tooling dies meet exact production specifications, and maintaining comprehensive records of tooling requirements. You’ll also oversee the tool and die program, manage critical spares, and coordinate effectively with operators and supervisors.
