**Key Responsibilities:**
– Develop and simulate efficient offline programs using advanced software like Robotmaster or MotoSim, ensuring collision-free execution for complex weldments.
– Optimize robotic operations by adjusting travel speed, voltage, and other parameters to enhance quality and minimize production times.
– Act as the first line of technical support, addressing intricate automation issues and software malfunctions.
– Inspect completed fabrications, guaranteeing adherence to stringent structural standards.
– Provide mentorship to production teams, advising on best practices for setup and operational efficiency.
– Manage basic preventative maintenance on robotics systems to ensure consistent performance.
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming industrial robots, preferably within Yaskawa/Motoman environments.
– Strong proficiency in interpreting detailed blueprints and optimizing fabrication sequences.
– Exceptional skills in MIG welding, capable of passing practical tests in both welding and inspection.
– Proven track record of reliable, long-term employment with demonstrated growth.
– Desirable qualifications include certifications in robotic welding, AWS CWI status, or an Associate’s Degree in Automated Manufacturing or Robotics.
