Branch Operations Manager – Exterior Building Products

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana

In this pivotal role, you will drive the success and growth of our Fort Wayne location, specializing in outdoor construction products and services. You will take charge of leading installation teams, managing daily operations, enhancing customer engagement, and spearheading business growth initiatives for projects such as decks, patios, porches, windows, and more. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll be instrumental in fostering a dynamic team environment, maintaining superior workmanship standards, and enabling the branch’s developmental ambitions through an operational focus.

The perfect candidate is a practical leader with expertise in residential construction or outdoor product management, adept at harmonizing operations, staff development, and client satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Team Leadership & Development:**
– Inspire and guide installation teams, project leads, and on-site personnel.
– Instill a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and professionalism.
– Enhance workforce skills through training, coaching, and professional development.
– Address employee performance issues promptly and constructively.

**Operational & Project Management:**
– Supervise everyday branch activities, including scheduling and labor management.
– Ensure that projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality demands from inception to conclusion.
– Optimize resource allocation, including workforce, materials, and subcontractor involvement.
– Oversee timekeeping and payroll precision.
– Maintain inventory levels and readiness of equipment for projects.

**Client Relations & Customer Service:**
– Act as the primary liaison with clients from project inception to completion.
– Deliver superior customer service with proactive engagements and effective resolutions.
– Strengthen ties with clients, contractors, builders, and other stakeholders.

**Quality Assurance & Safety:**
– Guarantee that all installations align with company quality and manufacturer specifications.
– Champion safety standards and compliance on job sites.
– Conduct regular site visits and inspections to uphold quality.

**Sales & Business Development:**
– Contribute to company expansion through client rapport and market outreach.
– Engage in sales consultations and develop strategic business avenues.
– Explore service diversification to enhance market presence.
– Represent the organization with professionalism in the industry and community.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
– Proven leadership experience in exterior remodeling, residential construction, or related arenas.
– Exceptional team management and organizational skills.
