HR Generalist
This position plays a pivotal role in our Human Resources team, closely collaborating with the President to drive and manage key employee lifecycle initiatives. In this role, you’ll engage in a diverse array of HR responsibilities, encompassing areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, performance evaluation, and organizational culture enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
– Facilitate the seamless execution of daily HR functions, focusing on recruitment, employee assimilation, performance assessments, and interpersonal relations.
– Partner with the President and Office Management to disseminate important HR policies, training programs, and legal updates.
– Act as the initial contact for employee inquiries, offering timely resolutions to HR-related issues and concerns.
– Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring comprehensive training compliance with company standards.
– Stay informed about and communicate changes and trends in employment laws and best practices to leadership.
– Actively engage in the strategic development and implementation of human resources projects and talent management strategies.
– Maintain meticulous employee records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
– Foster a positive organizational climate, aligning with the company’s core values.
– Perform additional tasks as required.
Work Environment:
– This full-time role includes a hybrid work arrangement based in Warren, NJ.
– Candidates must be capable of commuting daily without the assistance of relocation benefits or visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
– A Bachelor’s degree or Professional Certification in Human Resources, or equivalent experiential background in roles such as HR Coordinator, Specialist, or similar.
– Minimum of one year of relevant HR experience.
– Thorough knowledge of HR functions: recruitment, legal compliance, employee engagement, and more.
– Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
– Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, preferably ADP WorkforceNow or Cornerstone.
– Strong communication skills and adept at handling sensitive information with discretion.
– Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
– Proven ability to solve problems and implement effective solutions.
