Responsibilities:
– Craft and innovate responsive, state-of-the-art front-end applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
– Develop intuitive user interfaces for scientific and engineering software, focusing on clarity and ease of use.
– Generate interactive data visualizations to simplify complex scientific data and outcomes.
– Partner with technical experts to transform complex requirements into smooth user journeys.
– Engage in end-to-end application development, ensuring performance, security, and user satisfaction.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
– A minimum of 8 years managing and developing UI-centric software projects.
– Expert knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
– Proven track record of crafting top-notch front-end solutions.
– Solid grasp of user-centered design principles.
– Exceptional communication skills.
– Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Skills:
– Experience working with Java or Python.
– Familiarity with Spring Boot, Redux, WebGL, or OpenGL.
– Background in building data-heavy interfaces for scientific or engineering use.
– Proficient with testing and mocking frameworks for web applications.
– Knowledge of REST APIs, backend technologies, and both relational and document-oriented databases.
– Focused on enhancing performance, responsiveness, and security.
– Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is a plus.
