This hourly role involves working under the guidance of the Maintenance Leader to ensure the effective functioning of mechanical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic components, as well as electrical machinery within the facility. Key responsibilities include resolving equipment malfunctions, implementing preventative maintenance protocols, and contributing to safety and operational efficiency. The position requires strict adherence to safety standards and uses precision tools for accurate repairs and alignments. Duties also involve executing maintenance plans, participating in developmental projects, and adhering to lock-out tag-out procedures for safety during electrical repairs. In addition, tasks such as motor replacements, wiring adjustments, and reading technical diagrams are essential. The role may require occasional travel for training purposes. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, team collaboration, accuracy, and a commitment to safety protocols. A combination of education and hands-on experience is necessary, with at least a high school diploma or GED and additional technical training. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb, and work in various environmental conditions, using PPE as required.
