This position requires a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two days remotely.

Team Overview:

You will participate in the design, development, and upkeep of our Web API platform, pivotal for providing critical real-time services to third-party users, clients, and the company’s client-facing applications. As part of the Web API team, you’ll have the chance to influence the platform’s future direction and expand your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business and internal teams to introduce new features and interfaces as needed.
Develop documentation units and regression tests for new implementations.
Create backend services or clients that expose internal services.
Offer third-level support for system issues.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
Extensive experience as a Java Developer, proficient with Java, Spring, and Vert.x.
Expertise in Git for code management and team collaboration.
Strong knowledge of RESTful web services design and implementation.
Hands-on experience with JUnit or similar testing frameworks for unit and integration tests.
Deep understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication systems within a Java platform.
Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities, thriving both independently and in a team setting.
Superior communication skills with a preference for teamwork.
A proactive approach to learning and keeping abreast with industry trends.
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) is advantageous.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies is beneficial.
