Sr. Product Manager
In this pivotal role, you will oversee a dynamic team comprising product managers, assistant product managers, and product specialists, ensuring seamless operations with additional oversight of customer service functions. Your expertise will bridge the gap between Japanese and American business cultures, requiring a keen eye for analyzing sales metrics and financial data, combined with impressive problem-solving abilities. As a key player in cross-functional teams, you will synchronize efforts across sales, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service sectors, requiring profound understanding of manufacturing protocols.
Your core responsibilities include orchestrating product lifecycle activities, from new product registrations to commercialization and scaling of production processes. Aligning closely with business directors and sales managers, you will tailor product plans to meet customer requirements and capitalize on market opportunities.
Key tasks include coordinating demand planning, handling production schedules, and managing supply restraints to meet customer needs both domestically and internationally. You’ll be the critical link between our commercial and manufacturing teams, converting market demands into actionable plans.
In addition, you’ll spearhead customer service direction through leading, training, and managing a dedicated team to align with company priorities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Your strategic oversight will also extend to inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess.
We seek candidates with 5-10 years of experience in the chemical industry, particularly in supply chain or product planning, supported by a degree in business or technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (S/4Hana preferred) is essential.
