Tax Senior Manager

In this pivotal role, you will oversee and authorize the technical review of complex tax returns and examinations. You will be the go-to expert in your field, managing extensive tax returns while delegating tasks to our skilled tax preparers. You’ll lead client service initiatives, ensuring seamless tax processes and satisfactory governmental examinations on behalf of our clients.
Mentorship is key, where you’ll contribute to staff development through recruitment and training, all while spearheading professional growth. We value accuracy and timeliness in client deliverables, billing, and collections. Expect to occasionally contribute to firm initiatives by engaging with community and industry networking events.
Ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in current tax laws, proficiency in tax software, and strong client representation history. You will have a minimum of seven to ten years of progressive public accounting experience, including over two years of client advocacy with tax authorities, alongside a year of leadership experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is necessary, with a Master’s degree in taxation preferred. A valid CPA license and good standing with the American Institute of CPAs is a must, along with a commitment to ongoing education.
