Operations & Maintenance Technician II
We are looking for a seasoned professional to undertake the key responsibility of activating, regulating, and scrutinizing our facility’s equipment functionality. Your role will involve operating advanced technological interfaces to track metrics, log operational data, and make critical adjustments as needed. You will execute comprehensive maintenance and repair tasks on both mechanical and electrical systems, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Your contributions to refining operations, crafting training materials, and suggesting enhancements for safety and performance improvement will be crucial.
Responsibilities extend to delivering high-level technical support, resolving complex system issues independently, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will create and maintain detailed reports while adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines. Your expertise will be pivotal in power plant operations, including equipment start-up, shutdown, chemical analysis, and routine system maintenance. You must be adaptable to night shifts, overtime, and occasional travel, with a proactive approach to all responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent education, with a preference for candidates with an Associate’s degree or advanced technical training. With 10+ years of direct experience, you are expected to possess strong mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation skills, coupled with an excellent understanding of environmental and safety standards. Your problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, and capacity to communicate effectively will make you an asset to our team.
