**Key Responsibilities:**
– Diagnose and manage a spectrum of complex autoimmune and musculoskeletal health issues using the latest clinical guidelines.
– Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed examinations and history taking.
– Oversee and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, ensuring an integrated approach to disease management.
– Create tailored treatment strategies, incorporating medications, lifestyle modifications, and referrals as needed.
– Prescribe and oversee treatment plans including DMARDs and immunotherapies, monitoring patient outcomes and safety.
– Perform and supervise procedures like joint injections as necessary.
– Guide patients and families on condition management, treatment options, and long-term health maintenance.
– Keep meticulous EMR documentation aligned with healthcare standards.
– Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
– Assist in developing clinical programs and sharing in departmental initiatives.
**Requirements:**
– MD or DO with completion of relevant Internal Medicine and Rheumatology training.
– Licensed or eligible for a Vermont medical license.
– Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
**Preferred Skills:**
– Experience in a specialty clinic, proficiency with musculoskeletal ultrasound, and thorough EMR documentation expertise.
